This 2BR - 2 Bath unit in Lincoln Park (steps form the Lincoln Park zoo) is available for sublet starting Apr 1 through Jun 30th with an option to renew for a year lease. Currently, we are 2 of us sharing the 2 bedrooms plus a very cute dog. I plan to move out by March end and looking for someone who can take over my lease.
About the Apartment -
2BED - 2 BATH garden unit. The new lessee will be occupying the room with an attached bathroom. Rent alone will be $900 plus the utilities. Since this is a garden unit, heat and AC can be used sparingly. Washer/Dryer are in the basement around the corner. Safe and secure neighborhood. We have been living here for about 3yrs now with no complaints. Land lady is a wonderful person. Anything you will need, she will have it done for you asap. There are 3 more units above and neighbors are extremely helpful in times of need. There's a CVS and bunch of restaurants and bars around the corner. Short walk to Old Town, Zoo and North Ave beach. Plenty of street/resident permit parking available. I never had a problem finding a spot. Less than a mile from Sedgewick Brown Line stop and number of CTA buses right outside (#73, #11, #22,#36, #156, #151).

About my roommate -
She's a professional working full-time in a very reputable company and an Indian by origin. Very friendly, responsible and easy-going. Most of the apt is already furnished so it will be perfect if you just have to walk in with your luggage. If not, we can certainly negotiate. There won't be negotiation in the rent though. (Sorry!)
What we are looking for:
A responsible, clean FEMALE roommate who should not have problem with dogs being around. My roommate owns the dog so you don't have to worry about anything.
